The Lasernet Platform 

The Lasernet Platform was developed to help our customers take information out of a system and to print it as a document.  ‘Laser’ references the laser printer networks we used to service and ‘Net’ was to describe the networks of hardware, software, and people who are all a part of the process.  As experts who helped customer get information out of digital networks and to physical printers – we recognized this as a common challenge businesses faced.  With that, Lasernet was developed, and the name ‘Lasernet’ was coined to describe the solution, service, and experience of being able to get your information out of a system and into its desired formatting.

Following our customers needs, we have continued to engineer Lasernet to deliver valuable solutions that help our customers share information through physical and digital channels in the format of documents. 

The Lasernet Platform is an end-to-end document management solution: giving customers the ability to generate, design, distribute, archive, and retrieve documents within their existing IT ecosystem.  The platform has a built-in editor and design tool that gives the ability to design business-ready, branded documents enriched with account specific information directly from existing ERP, CRM, banking core, or other business systems.  After the documents are created, by storing them in Lasernet’s archive you can retrieve and store your documents for a fraction of the price of traditional data storage.

How our Customers Use Lasernet

Lasernet is used by small, medium, or global, enterprise organizations to build document programs that solve universal document challenges.  A major cross-industry challenge is unlocking data from different business systems to create personalized, comprehensive documentation.  With Lasernet, our customers can pull different data sets from ERP, CRM, PLM, CAD, or banking systems, do data transformation, and deliver that in a highly personalized documents based on the customer’s needs. Our customer use cases are not industry specific; we address universal documentation challenges posed by traditional data systems that are found in Manufacturing, Retail, Banking, and Finance based industries. Some of these universal challenges are:

  • Sales and marketing collateral: customers can mange their sales and marketing documentation process including complex quote creation, marketing brochures (including variable pricing), long form receipts, and multiple language supported invoices, confirmations, etc 
  • Account and banking statements: traditional banking cores don’t offer personalization or customized branded outputs.  Lasernet banking customers can create attractive, informative, and information rich statements in bulk or on a highly personalized scale 
  • Shipping and logistics: many customers face expensive penalties and fines due to inaccurate shipping documents.  With Lasernet our customers can streamline the shipping document process from order placement to receipt of goods 
  • International business requirements: as e-Invoicing rolls out throughout Europe, many organizations struggle with data formatting, transactions, and traceability within their Dynamics, Infor, and ERP systems 
  • Quality and compliance records: in highly regulated industries such as aerospace, pharmaceutical, and life sciences companies need to create complex compliance reports, certificates, and product documentation for end customer
